Can't get some rest

So I've changed jobs half of last month, and now doing contract work for another company, which has been the best move that I've ever made, and now I'm getting paid what I'm really worth, or let's say getting paid for what you really do.

Since I've left my job and started with the new stuff there was no time to just sit around, it is now just work-work-work while the rest of the poeple are getting in a christmas fever, I am thinking about my next deadline.

Anyways, went to visit the family in Krugersdorp this weekend, and while at it went to check out some houses/townhouses/clusters blabla to check if me and the wife can buy some place near the parents soon, BUT what I shock it has been, house prices are rediculous.

As far as I think I get a very reasonable salary, but for me and the wife to buy a house of R500 K or R600 K you must earn somewhere around R20 000 per month together, which is totally rediculous.

Only time will tell what will happen next here.
